We're inviting volunteers to come hang out with us and share fondue, collaborate on a canvas together, and play board games - satisfying your sweet tooth, creative itch, and competitive nature all in one place! I*Create presents: The Sweet Escape 2013

Hello!
Since last year's social was such a success, this year we are hosting another "Sweet Escape" for our beloved volunteers! You can mingle with other volunteers, play board games, make holiday cards to give to patients, ask questions to the execs, and (last, but not least) DECORATE & EAT SOME CUPCAKES FOR FREE (and other baked goods). Who wouldn't want that, after all the midterms and papers?

Come join us on Thursday, November 14 at 7pm in the Madeleine Parent room on the 2nd floor of the SSMU Building =)

Winter Social!

Hi everyone!

Hide out from the cold and warm your heart with an evening with your I*Create volunteers and execs. I*Create presents La Chocolatier, our social event of the winter semester. This will give you a chance to talk to your execs, get to know your fellow volunteers, and learn skills that will come handy for your volunteer shift. 

Those of you who are interested in running for an exec position for the next year should definitely come out to meet everyone!

Come to SSMU 302 on Friday, Feb 1st 6:30 to 8: 30 for Games, crafts tutorials and workshops. You can learn how to make origami and friendship bracelets. On top of it all, we have chocolate fondue to warm you up. This is FREE for our members so drop by and we'll see you there!

Awesome first event!

Hi guys!

Just wanted to thank everyone who came out to our first ever volunteer event sweet escape!! We really hope you had as much fun as we did playing games, making holiday crafts, decorating (albeit messy) cupcakes and nomming on pizza. We were so pleased with the turn out and we are hoping to plan another similar event for next semester. 
We had so much fun meeting you guys, you are seriously a great bunch! Hopefully we'll be uploading pictures from the event really soon.

On another note, we're having a SAMOSA SALE in McConell this Wednesday Nov. 21st so please drop by to say hi and grab a samosa while you're at it.
